The Vortex design combines a smooth bellmouth entry with integrated curved guide vanes, helping control the incoming airflow and reduce turbulence as it enters the carburettor.

Product Information
The standard carburettor inlet can create turbulence and airflow restriction as air enters the carburettor. A properly designed velocity stack provides a smoother transition into the carburettor, helping air enter more efficiently.
The IPNG Vortex design takes this concept further by incorporating curved guide vanes within the inlet. These vanes help guide incoming air into a controlled circular motion, designed to improve the quality and efficiency of the airflow entering the carburettor.
The result is a velocity stack designed not simply to increase the available intake area, but to actively manage the airflow entering the HIF44.
Independent testing of this design has demonstrated an approximately 5.2% improvement in airflow over the standard A-Series setup.
The design has been developed with reference to the established A-Series tuning principles associated with David Vizard, making it particularly suited to enthusiasts looking to optimise the breathing characteristics of their classic A-Series engine.

The velocity stack is designed to retain the original HIF44 carburettor fixing arrangement, making installation straightforward.
Remove the existing intake/filter arrangement, fit the velocity stack to the HIF44 using the original fixing arrangement and ensure everything is securely fastened before use.
