One LEFT-HAND 3D-printed replacement tow eye cover with integrated retention strap for the Volkswagen Lupo GTI (1999–2006).
Original Lupo GTI tow eye covers are becoming increasingly difficult to find, with the genuine Volkswagen left-hand cover no longer available as a new replacement part.
IPNG's replacement is based on the original design, providing an accessible replacement for missing or damaged covers while also adding an integrated retention strap.
The strap attaches to the vehicle's lower bumper fixing, helping prevent the cover from becoming lost when it is removed from the bumper.
Improved Retention
The integrated retention strap is designed to keep the tow eye cover attached to the vehicle when removed.
Simply secure the strap to the lower bumper fixing, then push the cover into its original position until it clicks securely into place.
This means that, unlike the original cover, you can remove it when access to the tow eye is required without having to worry about where you have put it afterwards.

Installation

Secure the supplied retention strap to the vehicle's lower bumper fixing, position the cover over the tow eye opening and push it into place until it clicks securely into the bumper.
No permanent modification to the vehicle is required.
