Important Fitment Information

This bush requires internal sanding before installation.

The inside of the bush should be carefully sanded using low-grit abrasive paper until it slides onto the steering rack with little resistance, while maintaining no noticeable play.

The final fit should be checked carefully before reassembling the steering rack.

Installation

1. Remove the steering rack from the vehicle.
2. Remove the track rods if they are still attached.
3. Remove the rubber boots from both sides of the rack.
4. Remove the two bolts securing the steering pinion and remove the pinion from the rack housing.
5. Slide the steering rack out of the housing and remove the original worn bush.
6. Carefully sand the inside of the replacement bush until it fits the rack correctly.
7. The bush should slide with little resistance but have no excessive play.
8. Reassemble the steering rack using fresh grease.
